Hello members and guests, If you're a Camstudio users, you might be interested in these tips... Recording games When recording a game, you must set the game to run in windowed mode. The known game that requires this configuration is Sims2. Recording a game running in an emulators like DeSmuMe or No$gba works out of the box W/O any configuration of the emulator. Sending vids in an IM or E-mail When you've recorded a vid, you must use Windows Movie Maker in XP or Windows Live Movie Maker if on Vista/7 to compress the vid so it can be sent for E-mail or IM. Recording a playing vid in media players This works, acording to tests, but only version2.6R294 is tested. Older versions of CS may require you to turn off hardware acceleration. Recording a DVD movies This works acording to tests, but again only version 2.6R294 is tested. Recording a virtual machine This works, but only VMware is tested, should work on Windows XP Mode and VPC2007 as well. Recording a Mac emulators This works fine. Tested with sheepshaver as a target program.
